Hey there,
I moved to southern california (from northern) about 5 years ago and got my beardie, Ike. Since then I have moved around a bit, but generally within an hour away and moving hasn't been much of a problem.
About a year and a half ago I moved from San Diego to Orange County - it was about an hour drive. Ike seemed to get really stressed, his beard all black and he wasn't moving much. It almost looked like he was dead, but as soon as I got him all setup he came around.
This time I'm moving back to northern cal which can be a 7-8 hour drive. I noticed he had his first seizure about a month and a half ago, since then I replaced his reptisun 10.0 bulb and have been giving him more calcium loaded food / powder, I havent seen him have problems. Im worried he wont make the long drive in 2 weeks.
Any suggestions? He's about 4-5 years old now.
Also on another note - the tip of his tale has been white, for about a quarter inch up - like the scales are compleatly white - I've put neosporin on it at night and it might be getting a little better. It doesn't seem to bother him and doesn't look black like tail rot. Suggestions?
