Moving to Germany? Can i take Huego???

We may be moving to Germany and i'm trying to figure out if anyone knows the regs on taking a lizard from the US to Germany??? I couldn't find anything online and even emailed the German Consolate in Germany.

Any advice/knowledge would be appreciated!

Oh lucky you, Germany? I would love to move there, also. Australia is my first choice, Germany is my second choice because it is so cold! :lol:
You should be able to take your dragon, because they are not on the CITES list. Just check out the laws for importing, etc. The big thing is making sure you get a certified health certificate 10 days prior to moving from a vet. Good luck. I do not think it will be any trouble, just getting things organized will be the main thing.

I spent 7 years in Germany a loooong while back. The food is just awsome. I loved the hikes and the castles and did I mention the food? :lol: The folks there were super too. If you want to talk, PM me. I love to share. I hope you get to take your baby, too.

My husband's in the army and can ask to go there. He's been there before and LOVED it! i thought it would be a great thing to experience for me and my 12yo! I heard the people there were so nice and the traveling was awsome! throw on a backpack and get a "train" ticket and go!
