Moving my beardie

I am moving from CA to MA in august. I have to fly home and am already flying my two cats and dog. The airline wont allow me to fly my beardie in the cabin as a carry on so Im wondering if there are any cold blooded transportations I can look into. I would really hate to have to leave him behind, someone help!!

really? i can't imagine why they would care, if he is in a stowable (under the seat) carrier!!!! for that matter, carry him in a purse or man bag, whichever the case might be, and how would they ever even know?

I have no idea what the rules are, but I'd be nervous to try to carry him in a bag because what if he was discovered by security and then not allowed to fly on the plane?
Personally, I think I would look into the shipping that breeders do and see if you can ship him to a family member before you leave. Would that work for you? If you could find a breeder in your area, maybe they could explain how it works in terms of packaging your beardie for shipping. I'd hate for you to have to leave him behind.

Thanks for all the feedback! they said they dont fly reptiles or rodents, plus they we have 3 people flying and 4 pets (you can only have one pet per person in the cabin) I checked out the first website and it was actually way cheaper than I thought it would be! Has anyone ever shipped with fedex? Im wondering how safe it is? I was also going to go to our local reptile store to see if they had any info.
