Hey everyone I have a short query. I haved moved Vicco off sand and onto a smoother, cleaner surface (this article confirmed it for me).
Now I don't fancy using paper etc, and was looking at the non-adhesive shelf liner. Is it slightly padded/foamy, or is it just smooth and easy to wipe down like lino? I have never seen any in shops and cannot tell from the internet.
I am only asking because the bottom of Vicco's tank is laminate wood which is smooth and easy to wipe down meaning there is no point in me putting shelf liner down. I do worry about his comfort though, on the hard wood.
Vicco also seems to enjoy digging in the sand when he had it, I was thinking about making him a sandbox in the cool part of his tank, could be cool, and much easier to clean/manage than when it was his whole tank. Also would make a nice comfy area in his favourite sleeping spot. Any thoughts on this anyone?
