Hey I'm a college student and just moved my 7 yr old beardie, Hydra, from where shes been staying at my parents house to my apartment (finally got off campus so I can bring her!) and now she has a very localized sore in her mouth. I think it may be stress induced from the move but that's just a guess. It looks very like a canker sore.
I had a hard time getting her mouth open and taking the picture but I think you can see it pretty well. Its on the inside of her bottom jaw right next to her lips but does not show when her mouth is closed.
She's been eating and drinking normally, i only noticed something was wrong when she was basking in the sun with her mouth hanging open.
Thoughts, suggestions? I'd be grateful for any advice. She's an only child so I've never had to deal with sores or injuries.
(i'm also in the process of looking up herp vets in the area so I'll take her in if it starts getting worse or affecting her eating)
