My dragons have started to sit under the basking light with their mouth open....they will stay that way for hours....it used to be only after I gave them a bath but now its all the time....is this something to worry about?

also I have heard of lizard puberty... would this make my larger male start to abuse his tank mate...I got them together and have been fine the whole 6 months that I've had them but now the larger one is being mean...biting the others neck and such...so much that I had to separate them for fear of the little one getting hurt....is puberty to blame?

Also does anyone have a cheap solution for housing....because I had to separate them the little one is stuck in a 20 long tank....I know its to small and would like to get him a proper sized home but can not afford another 40 breeder right now...any fast cheap suggestions would help greatly...thank you

Check temperatures in basking spot but normally gaping mouth is perfectly normal and is them letting off excess body heat, regulating their body temperature


As far as the other dragon goes....its a male to? Definitely keep them separate. Keep an eye out on craigslist not difficult to find 40gallong breeders for $40-60 sometimes even with accessories, stands, or a surprise dragon o.0
