Mothra Has Arrived!

I haven't said much on the forums but I have been working on getting a fourth beardie and he is finally here! He came from Russ (crazyhorse526) who is also Gaper's breeder. We actually had his name picked out before the dragon. A friend of our suggested it based on Godzeena's name and we just loved it. It will totally fit him.

Tomorrow Mothra will be 4 months and 1 week. He hatched on 6.20.06. He is almost 17 inches long. I haven't had a chance to weigh him yet so I don't know know that yet. He is a JoJo x Frost mix. Gaper is a Zowiee x Frost mix. Mothra's colors are out of this world. This guy's colors NEVER quiet down. He is just amazing.

I got him out of his box and stuck him in the bath and then took some pictures of him. He was hanging out with my mom and I for about 20 minutes after the bath and then I put him in his new viv. Within the first 2.5 hours of being home, he ate 27 silkies!! :shock: Something tells me the little bugger isn't going to have a problem with relocation stress!!

Is it just me, or the just the way Mothra is standing cuz his feet look huge?

We just got Elvis today from Russ too and he was born in June 2006!! I Maybe he and Mothra are brothers!!! He's beautiful. Elvis has the same colors, but my camera doesn't pick them up well. I'll have to try again.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Mothra sure is a little pig and has already grown to 17 inches exactly. I weighed him last night and he is 181 grams.

Mothra was the villian in the Godzilla movies. Since we have a Godzeena, a friend of ours suggested Mothra.

Oh yeah.. Mothra DOES have big feet. LOL It isn't just the photo making them look big. He is just big all around.

You better check your scale, he wieghed 205 when I shipped him!! He looks great and I am glad he found a good home.

You better check your scale, he wieghed 205 when I shipped him!! He looks great and I am glad he found a good home.
