Jortiz is actually a member here, although he doesn't post anymore and hasn't been around for a long time (At least that i've seen)

I knew the youtube name looked familiar, he was the owner of "Meathead" (RIP) one of this boards largest dragons (if not THE biggest).

But in regards to the original topic, no I don't think they are too big at all. Especially with them being a soft bodied worm.

Just to clarify I wasn't worried about impaction so much as I was just choking on it because it was large. But if you guys say it's an ok size then I trust your judgment. And I also wasn't trying to say that user was spam or anything. I could see they were a member. It just seemed like they could have posted their video in their own topic but I'm not all bent out of shape about it. It was still a good video none the less. And a cute beardie :D

Even though you sort of hijacked my thread to show that I still found it entertaining. :p
Were those hornworms too?
Im sorry i hijacked ur thread! Im kinda still tryin to find me way in the filmmakeing bizzzz. To answer your question;no. Those are silkworms. Zed seems to be gettin nice and big off them. I use them as a staple along with a few crickets and pheo worms. Cant wait to get him some wax worms treats. Ive only had him a month and buy feeder once every two weeks, so not many opertunites to buy the spareingly treats.

Cool! What editing software do you use? YouTube is a good place to start. My husband is in to that too. My bearded dragon loves pheonix worms. Maybe I'll try silks or horn worms too.

I am new to keeping bearded dragons and even I could tell the one in that video that had trouble eating did not look healthy. It was sad to see the one trying to eat... and to see them competing for food like that, it looked like it would bestressing them out feeding them together like that

It is possible that the one with MBD was/is a rescue. The dragons didn't really look unhealthy to me.

I read the comment thread of the subject video. And someone asked about the toothless MBD dragon. The poster said that the dragon was got that way. So they may have been rescues. Who knows? :dontknow:

If it was a rescue that makes sense, the other two looked like they didn't have any trouble eating, and it would explain some of the old injuries. I guess we shouldn't jump to conclusions about people on one video.

Isn't it still stressful to feed them together like that?

Yeah, even if the beardie with MDB is a rescue, they still shouldn't be fed together like that and the beardie with MDB should be fed smaller/softer foods.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
