More light related questions

I'm going to make this perfect......
Bought a fixture that will hold a 24 in UVB.
Q: where do I buy a Repti-Sun 10.0 for a reasonable price? Petsmart asked for $50.
Q: is a 24" UVB tube and fixture too big for a 20 long? I measured and the fixture will fit inside the tank. (I'm mounting it.) will my dragon get too much exposure?
Basking light Q: I've used a zoomed 100w basking spot in a dome fixture in the past. What do you all use?

Hi, most ppl get their reptisuns from petmountian.com... However I found once I added on shipping it was a few bucks more than a guy who sells them on eBay for 29.99 buy it now with free shipping for the 24". So I got mine off of eBay. he list them all the time. Just search the reptisun 10.0 and youll find them. And thats $20 cheaper than petsmart...

you want your uvb to cover 2/3-3/4 of the enclosure...yours is maybe a bit closer to the 3/4? Make sure he can get within 6-8 inches of it, and provide a hide so he can get out of it if he wants... I imagine it should be fine.

I have whatever basking light the stupid pet store sold me, I can tell you once I have to replace it, ill be buying a regular clear old fashion household bulb... Why spend a ton on a light when I can buy a 4 pack of reg bulbs for $2, that do the same thing...put off heat.

You trust this guy on eBay? You're sure these bulbs are new?
Sorry if I'm a bit skeptical. I am probably just overly cautious....

Yes his bulbs are new, the packing is great so no problems there. And yea I trust him. Ive ordered from him and had absolutely no problems at all. I was a bit skeptical at first too, but figured with the buyer protection Id take a chance... And Ill def be ordering my lights from him from now on. And yea I meant petmountain.com, I tend to type fast and mess up stuff lol

Yea thats an awesome deal Heres the link for that guys eBay auction for the 24" >> http://www.ebay.com/itm/Reptile-Lighting-ReptiSun-10-0-High-Output-UVB-Bulb-24-/130445847728?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e5f2dacb0 He always relists them.. but your deal getting 2 for 50, would save u about $5 a bulb.
