Mom!!!! LIGHT!!!!!!

God, I woke up at 7.00 AM, which is way to early to turn my beardies light on. I wasn't feeling well, I passed back out, woke up like 30 minutes ago.
Im having a fever so Im not thinking clear. Im used to wake up at 10.00. Beardies light goes on at 12.00 and off at 1.00 AM. Well I was sitting here, drowsy, hear something against the glass. I look up and she's sitting there tapping on the glass waiting for her light to come on. Poor girl. Now shes up on her basking log, poor girly.
She's still staring at me though, I think this beardie slave might get punished!

You could get a timer for your lights. Those things make life soo much easier, considering that some days I get home after work pretty late and Morty's lights are already off! His lights are on at 8am and off at 8pm. Don't tell him I woke up a little late today

lol, yeah I have contemplated timer, I just enjoy tuck her to bed and greet her good morning. I have made up for some of my mistake though. I just sat and handfeed her she loves when I do that. But apperently I stopped too soon, she's staring at me again *sighs* Im gonna be right back, someone wants more veggies. Beardies I swear to God they are way smarter than we give them.

I agree! I'm pretty sure they're smart enough to not let on how smart they are, or else we wouldn't be the best beardie slaves we could be. :whip:

Regarding timers, I'm in love with the simple lamp timers at home depot, usually around $5. There's a switch to manually turn the lamp on and off, so you might consider setting the timer so it'll automatically turn on/off a little later than you normally wake her up and put her to bed. That way, you have a fail-safe for those rare sleep-ins and day or two out of town.
