I have a 4 month old dragon named Toasty. Recently his MBD has gotten worst and his back legs are somewhat paralyzed. I took him to a very good vet and they injected him with calcium and some other vitamins. I was sent home with a 30 day treatment of liquid calcium that I give to him by mouth.
He doesn't can't move too much around the enclosure. All he can do is adjust his position to increase or decrease his temperature. I wondered if Moist Soft bites for Beardes dragons might be beneficial to his health. Of course, I will feed him his dusted crickets and veggies everyday. But I wondered if this extra amount of nutrition would help his condition?
That is if he likes the bites I see a lot of Bearded Dragons don't eat this stuff but if this is beneficial to him (and maybe even in the future) I think it would be a good time now to get used to the flavor. I emailed my vet clinic as well to see their inquirey but I also want public opinion as well.
