Zipper has been rubbing his chin on the repti carpet which is on half the tank and rubbing on the slate tile which is on the other half, but I looked at his chin and tip of his bottom jaw and seems to be missing 2 scales and its a lite pink, but it dont hurt him or anything I can touch it without him going nuts? IS he ok?

and half of his tail is turning really dark brown, is that normal?

It looks like he might have rubbed his chin a bit raw - was he getting ready to shed, or is he currently shedding? You should put some neosporin on it (the normal kind, not the pain killing kind). The tail looks pretty normal, and getting ready to shed. Max has a slightly darker end of his tail too. More concerning is that underbite - has he always had it, or has it recently developed? It is typically a sign of MBD. What kind UVB are you using, and what is your calcium dusting regimen?

he shed last week, but only his head. alright I will put some neosporin on it, I have both. He has mbd I have like 4 other threds of it. But the vet said that I caught it in time so it wont be bad, he never got the shaking that I read about. The first sign was on the 23rd of Jan. The vet said that he wont be the same but I love him anyway. Mercury Vapor bulb 100watt and 100 watt basking bulb. Basking hot side is 102 to 105 and cool side is 80 and at night it goes between 75 and 85. I dust with calcium 5 times a week, he dont like anything but supers and he only like the ones that shed and look albino and they are medium in size.

Okay, I didn't see your other threads. Glad you caught that. If he continues to rub his head, maybe you could switch his substrate to something soft like towels for the time being. That will keep him from rubbing himself raw.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
