Minor cut on foot

This morning I took Binx out to be held for a bit but when he walked up my arm I noticed a little red under his foot. Turns out it's a little cut. What should I do to clean it for the time being? I don't have any of the betadine (I think that's what it's called) stuff but I can get some later on today. I just want to clean it up a bit before then just to be safe. Thank you for any advice! Here's a pic of the foot. The darkest area (top left) is the cut and the rest is just blood that got smudged

Ouch! Poor guy.
I think you can use diluted betadine daily, along with neosporin.
Hopefully it's on a solid substrate. I'd make sure there's no loose particles or anything that could potentially infect it.
Doesn't look too bad anyways.

You can use unpasteurized honey directly on the wound. The stuff you get from regular grocery stores.

It is solid substrate, I use paper towels and replace them once-twice a week but thank you both! I'll probably use honey because we have some in the kitchen right now.

Unpasteurized is basically organic I suppose. You can use it for snacks but it's not the normal "bear bottle" honey
