Minimum size for 6-12Month old?

Ok so I am going back to college this fall and I want to bring my beardie with me even though I am not supposed to have him in the dorms (they only allows fish and amphibians, dumb right?). But the only way they can catch me is during inspection and during that I will just cover the cage with a blanket (they can't legally move anything). I want to build a viv for her so that I can leave my current one at home. What would be the minimum size? could I get by with like 18X18X36? She will be between 6 and 12 months. Could I do more of a vertical viv? like instead of a typical viv could I do like H:36 L:24 W:24 with 2 levels and a ramp. It would have a hot (upper) level and a cool (lower) level. Dorms are small and I like the idea of little floor space

Just use a 40gal breeder, and keep it under the bed. I had two beardie tanks in college, and that's pretty much what I did...kept them under the bed and during inspections I would just move items in front of the enclosures. Although by the time I got beardies I was in an on campus apartments. Dorms will have a lot more foot traffic, and keeping a tank hidden will be a bit harder. Not to mention you'll probably have a roommate, and depending on how that relationship goes, they may or may not report the beardie out of spite.

Agreed with above post. Use a 40g breeder. It'll save you the upgrade cost in the future if you decide to go smaller.
