So when my girl tested positive for a nasty parasite my vet told me to keep a bare bones viv. Get rid of all porous products, wood etc. To reduce the risk of reinfection.
It has me thinking, all this stuff we put in the vivs to make them look cool. Aren't we actually making an unsafe enviorment for our pets?

Your thoughts?

Only if the dragon already has parasite problems. All the extra stuff makes it harder to clean and with porus stuff like wood and some rocks, its hard to get all the parasites out on a regular basis.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
