Hey all,
REcently, I moved across the state and my beardie has been very out of sorts since then. In a nutshell, we packed the cars one day, left for our new house the next day but the car broke down (day 2 without a tank or UVB) leaving us stranded at a hotel overnight, then drove 12 hours to our new house (day 3 with no tank or UVB). We got the tank set back up and the temps correct, but it's been almost a week and a half and he is still not eating or exploring around the tank like he ususally does. He has spent much of his time laying on the bottom of the warm side of his tank. Could he still be going through relocation stress? ALso, he is going through a yucky shed. His appetite has been off and he has been very lethargic. He blackbearded almost constantly and had very dark stress marks the first three or four days we were here. It probably doesnt help that his lights are off by an hour (we crossed a time change). I'm worried about him, but knowing so much has hit him at once, it shouldn't surprise me. Could you reassure me that he's really ok?
