You can try getting a standard aquarium background and stick that up. I have seen the white melamine roll-up sheets in hardware stores that you could try sticking up instead. That's what I'll be pasting to the inside of my wood viv so that it's not dark stain on the inside. I've also heard of white laminate being glued to the inside of wood vivs to create the white background while still being able to have a colored wood outside.

Sorry to be off topic, but why wouldn't you want dark stain for the interior of a viv?

Dark stain can make your dragon seem a bit more washed out, not as vibrant, but mostly the dark stain absorbs more light and such. Having a white interior allows for more light to bounce off. It's just a preference thing, not a health issue. You can glue stuff to the inside of a glass tank no problem.

Oh. Whew! I was worried there. I'm working on this really pretty Victorian, girly decor. All stained with scalloped trim and sort of flowery fabric. For a minute there I thought this was all gonna have to be changed.
