Micro Supers?

Sorry I know there are other threads on this but I can't find the answer exactly. My baby is about 3 months old now and 8 inches long, I'm currently giving him reptiworms as a staple but they're just getting way too exspensive. Are micro supers okay for a 3 mo. old baby as a staple? I know they would need to be dusted which is fine I just don't want to risk impaction or poor nutrition. But they are alot more affordable

I know what you mean, i too fed reptiworms as a staple for about 4 months or so. It just got too expensive. I live in florida so dubias are out of the question. I looked into supers and found that they are a good staple. However its recommended that you wait until theyre around 16" when their digestive systems are more developed. Since these are micros it shouldnt be a big issue but you need to introduce him slowly to them, dont just let him pig out. Monitor his poop and how often he goes. I wouldnt suggest anything bigger than micros for sure, at least for now. And if you dont give him baths 3 or more times a week i would say start doing it once he begins eating those because im sure it will become slightly harder for him to poop on his own.
