Hi,
It`s getting warmer out, so I`m thinking I want to raise Clifford`s heat lamp a little. Right now it's sitting on top of the mesh top of his terrarium, but if I use the clamps that came with the lights, they will have to clamp onto the edge of the tank and I'll have to take the mesh top off. Cliff doesn't have anything tall enough in there that he can climb out and he's never tried. I don't have any other animals that might bother him either. Is it safe to have an open-top terrarium?

Spike is 6 years old and I have never had the mesh top on his tank. Sampson, who is 9 months old, will climb and then jump on the curtains. I just took out the "tree". He still has his basking log. So, yes, it is safe to leave the top off.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
