Yea I had my sister check on mine while I am at work. I have to go to Montana this coming up weekend. I think I will worried about them the whole time :)
I had a beardie when I was younger and wasn't into forums, so it lived its entire (short) life under a set-up suggested by a pet store. I feel obligated to do right by this beardie so he lives a long, healthy, happy life
Yes Petsmart would have killed mine. They told me to feed only mealworms.

Made my first order of Reptiworms today for Toothless. Crickets are insanely expensive. I got 300 for half the price of 300 crickets. I'm hoping he likes these because ordering crickets online in bulk isn't going to happen and I'm guessing the pet store is getting tired of my twice daily visits lol. They smell too bad to keep.

Another question about his bathroom use. Toothless refuses to "go" in his tank. I've been giving him daily soaks and he poops within 30 seconds of being in the water. I remember when I got him, he was the only one in the enclosure and there was a water dish with waste in it. Could he have gotten use to going in the water dish? If I don't bathe him, he doesn't go. But every bath he gets, causes him to go instantly. He eats and my enclosure is up to spec. Is it a problem to let him soak a couple minutes every day?

Well, I have had Toothless for a month as of today. When I got him, he was around 5 1/2 inches. He was just a smidge under 8" today. I have learned a lot this month, from heating to feeding and I have this great site to thank. I'm going to try to get a picture in the same position every month to show how much he is growing and how his color is developing. Yesterday he started his second shed with me. I'm very excited to say that Toothless is most definitely a HE. I was able to see pretty clearly today that he is a little boy. Here is a picture from the day I got him and one from tonight before bed. The most noticeable difference to me, besides the length, is how red/orange he is become. Also, the width of his head and base of his tail. HE is filling out really nice!

Well, Toothless has been with me just a few days over 2 months now. His colors are really starting to get amazing. The patches on his back are very purple, which I didn't expect. He's eating around 115-120 small reptiworms per day. Still no interest in veggies. I've tried butternut squash, collards, blueberries, endive, and escarole. I'll keep trying. One of these days he will eat it. Anyway, here is a picture from the day I got him, 1 month after, and today. He is getting massive and constantly shedding, By the time his back finishes, his tail has already turned again. :D

Welp, another month down and an update with Toothless' growth. He is in the middle of a crazy shed right now. It's all folded down around his head right now and his back may start tomorrow. He's been eating crickets for the last 2 weeks and it seems to have dulled his color, of course it could be from the current shed. Here he is, just over 13 inches...

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
