Hello Everyone!
My name is Lee, and I have been lurking around here for the past month researching and learning. I have always wanted a reptile as a pet, and now I finally adopted my new buddy this past Saturday! This little guy was the first to the glass and would not stop checking me out even after I left and came back. It was the natural choice.
Without further delay... meet Rocko (who I am thinking is actually female, but don't know for sure yet, so Rockette maybe?).
Hours after coming home:
Unfortunately this image is rather dark, but after much interest and many attempts finally conquered the laptop (trying to get closer to the message boards maybe?):
Lounging around after showing the laptop who was boss. Also, in this photo you can clearly see that the tail is a orange color while the body is more of a gray. I am not sure if this is shedding or what? The guy at the store told me it was due to a colored sand that they tried in the enclosure, but it has yet to come off with two baths. Then again, I was also told that feeding large crickets would be fine, and to feed only a few a day.
Showin' a 'lil tounge!
We discovered the window and the big world today!
Making the best of the situation.
That is all I have so far. I would have to say that my absolute favorite image is the one looking out the window with the light on his/her face. As I am typing this we have some bearding action going on while basking after a good dinner!
