Hello All,

New Beardie mom here. My 6 year old son fell in love with bearded dragons a few months ago. We finally brought home Beau (Bo) 11 days ago! We were told he is almost 4 weeks old:)

We are so in love with him already. He has such a little personality already.

I feel so overwhelmed and want to make sure I am doing everything right. We got him the Bearded Dragon Deluxe kit that came with everything at Pet-co. I bought some vines and he absolutely loves climbing on them!

I can't wait to get to know him some more. I feel like I am constantly feeding him. He has between 11-15 feeding worms in the morning and then I gave him greens for a snack along with some shredded carrots and he tore it up!

He had his 2nd bath today and absolutely loves it! He is such a little baby yet and we just adore him (or her, lol)!

Welcome to the forum. He's a cute little guy! So tiny. That doesn't last long so enjoy it. Please let us know if you have any questions. In addition to the kit you may want to have an infrared temp gun or digital thermometers as well as a higher quality UVB light but if you want to run down what you have I'll be glad to review it and make sure everything is as good as possible for your new buddy.

To many carrots can be toxic to beardies, you can only feed them once in a while. To much vitamin A is a bad thing.

He is adorable.

Oh my, Thank you for that. No more carrots for him then! Can he have all the greens he wants? He really likes those!

So cute! My Larry looked like that too. For a very short while!
I would also add that you need to make sure the crickets are very small. No bigger than the space between his eyes. Make sure any hard veggies you give him are cut up really small. Those little guys can get impacted easy and it's not fun.

No iceburg lettuce.

What a cutie!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
