Meet my new Little Man

For those of you who knew Dylila the tiniest dragon in all the land, I am sad to say that she passed away. The vet believes she had a birth defect that prevented her from being able to grow. At the age of 3.5 months she still looked like a hatchling. In a moment of insanity.....I went and got a new baby, not really intending to...just wanted to look at them, because I missed her. This boy?? caught my eye immediately, he looked so much like her! He has a beautiful cream color highlighted by orange. I am estimating him at about 2 weeks of age(from size alone) he is 5 1/4 inches long and weighs 7 grams. Dylila at her largest was 6inches and weighed 6 grams. I am assured by the vet that my husbandry is perfect and that there was nothing I could have done for Dylila, so sad...poor girl never had a chance... I have not really named him yet, for now I am calling him Little Man...we will see if that sticks or if it changes. He is very alert and active! Nice bright eyes and is eating nicely. I am hoping his adjustment period is not too long, I can't wait to see him grow big and fat!!
