I have a small stockpile of Bene-bac. Our local Petco carries it, so it's easy for me to get. I'll keep my fingers crossed that Pushkin's fecal comes back clean. All of mine are obsessed with supers. Narley is going to have a blow out when he goes with all he has been eating. Have you tried the warm bath and belly rub yet? I've heard the same two things as you about the droopy eyes. I'd like to know what the vet says about them.

That's great that your Petco stocks it! I went to mine and they told me they don't have a small animal section - that I would have to drive to the next city over. When I looked and asked for it at Petsmart, the employees looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. :?

Narley finally went to the bathroom again today! A couple things concern me though, so I am definitely getting him to the vet on Friday (and hoping that he goes to the bathroom again before then!). He went a lot (and he's so tiny so he was so scrawny afterwards!), but it smelled a bit and had the same consistency that Pushkin's has had while he's had coccidia. :( Please keep your fingers crossed that it's nothing!

Otherwise, his appetite has been good, and he's carrying on being his normal stoner/occasionally-spastic self. :) He hasn't had a single stress line! NONE! Even with Pushkin going nuts around him! I don't even know if he knows how to be stressed. Like I said... stoner. I'd probably be worried if he weren't so active - he loves exploring and tries to eat everything!

The droopy eyes go with the name and stoner personality! Mine always look like they lost weight after a good poop, but they don't go daily.

They really do! That's partially what led me to the name! Hoping he's okay though, and that the droopy eyes are nothing to worry about. I thought that by buying from a breeder, I'd avert a lot of health concerns, but I guess in the end, these dragons just like to make us worry!
Good to hear yours don't go to the bathroom daily - Pushkin went twice a day when he was young, and about a month ago, he started going just once a day (in the bath). I've bathed Narley multiple times, but it doesn't do the trick for him for some reason!

Toki goes every other day. Spyro is a loose cannon now, he used to go daily, but now every 3-4 days. Ember goes every morning about 10 minutes after he eats his live food. I have his bath water ready before I feed him. Lol. Taz has went everyday so far, but he likes to paint his tank. I think he is going to be like Ember and have to take a bath immediately after he eats.

Didn't you get Narley from CCD? I have seen nothing but stunning, healthy dragons produced by them. Do you have a picture of his droopy eyes? Taz's eyes are a little droopy, but he is built different than my others.

You know, that is the interesting part about having more than one dragon now - of course, they have similar mannerisms and behaviors, but you can also see how they each have very distinct habits and temperaments!!

I did get him from CCD, and their dragons are beautiful! I saw several of their other babies and sub-adults at Repticon - all stunning. His eyes may just be the look of him, or maybe even dehydration. He was lapping up water in the bath yesterday and his urate looked a little dry today even though his stool was loose and watery.

Here's his eye (both look like this)

This photo was taken the day he was shedding, thus all the loose skin!

Isn't it fun to watch them and see how different they are. Some dragons have really strong personalities. For example, I had a friend over this afternoon and he wanted to hold Toki. She was running from him in her enclosure, so I went to get her and she walks in my hand. As I am trying to hand her to him, she is scooting back and refused to let him near her. Of course, I had to see if the others would do the same thing and only Ember would let him hold him, but he had to open his mouth and puff up at him.

His eye looks a tad droopy, but nothing major. I never though about the possibility of being dehydrated causing droopy eyes, but it does make sense. If you need some Bene-bac to have just in case, let me know. I have 4 packs with 3 tubes in it. I can always get more.

When I grow up I want a CCD dragon!!!!! Lol. I almost bought one from them, but I seen Toki and fell in love. It wouldn't be fair for me to get another beardie right now. I had to make a schedule so each one gets out of the tank time. I feel horrible if they don't get to come out for at least 30 minutes a day to explore. Plus, my two bassets hate each other. Izzy, my 8 yr old Bassett, wants to kill Riley, so I have to keep them in separate rooms. Not having any luck finding an animal behaviorist to come work with Izzy.

I'm about to post an update in my other photo thread, but Narley went to the vet today and everything looks great! She said his eyes were abnormal, but clear and still taunt on top so she's not concerned. They'll keep an eye on them, though.

Pushkin has pinworms now, and is hopefully going in tomorrow for a shot if I can get an appointment time. :( Narley hasn't been pooping, so they didn't do a fecal today, but he finally pooped this afternoon. It's in the fridge (so gross), so I'll bring that in tomorrow.

But on the personalities - here, I've been thinking Narley was just ridiculously laid back, but I brought him to the vet (and I have a great vet, she's so good with them) and he bearded up and freaked out! First time I've seen his beard! Same thing when the vet assistant held him. When I took him back, he snuggled right down. :love5:

Oh and that's so sad about your dogs - hopefully they'll get along!!! I think it's normal for the "oldie" to be a put off by a new animal. Everyone I know that has had a single animal and then added a new one has had that experience! They really thing they rule everything!

Thanks so much for the Bene-Bac offer!! I don't want to put you out though! I actually ordered some online, so hopefully it'll be in sooner than later!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
