Meet my 2 new beardies

I've not posted in a long time, I recently lost my beardie Theoden, and I ended up selling my female juvenile not long before losing him(wasn't a good fit, she has a better fitting home now).

But now I have 2 new beardies.

The 1st is a adult male, he's 19 inches long, he's a mighty hunter(hear him roarrrrr) he's supposed to be around 2 years old. I named him Thorin(like Thorin Oakenshield).

The other is a year old female, she's pretty small, only about 13 inches, she might be a Rakins dragon, her head is rounder then any normal beardie I've seen. He face also looks more like a baby's but she's too big to have that face, and to me Rakins have baby faces.
I haven't named her yet, I'm keeping with the middle earth(hobbit, lord of the rings) theme

I plan on getting better pictures soon, and I'll post a specific thread with my girl in it to get opinions on wether or not she's a Rakins.

I'm waiting on 2 reptisun 10.0 strip lights in the mail as well, I'm using the compact ones until they arrive, then the setups will be mostly complete.

Also does anybody have a good link for specific directions on making a foam and grout rock wall/hide? I've been wanting to make one for a while now.

Hi there....those are 2 nice looking beardies. Both look very healthy, and as larger dragons they will be easy to feed more so than babies. Your female is definitely not a Rankin's, they are smaller than that as adults[ 10 -12" ] and have a very distinct bowtie pattern on their back. She is just a small pogona vitticeps, no doubt at all. She will probably grow a few more inches for you. Anyway, hope that clears up your question about her....enjoy your new friends !
