hi, ive been on this site for a while now so i figure id make a thread showing my jubjub off...
hes a petstore purchase 6 months old when i got him about 2 months ago..
he gets a bath every other day and dosent seem to mind them.
i order every 2 weeks from portcredit pets online for crickets and worms... ive tried everything but phenox worms and silkies.
on oct 27th he was 17 inches and 326 grams.
the petstore didnt tell me what kind of dragon it was so if anyone could tell me that be cool.
he has a 18"inch 10.0 reptisun bulb, i know its on top of the mesh screen but i do havethe top door open so some of the bulb isnt going throught mesh.

Welcome to bd.org! :wave: What a beutiful dragon, I would say he's a "normal" which come in all colours. To know his particular morph, you'd have to know his parents and grandparents. He's so big & healthy, he's doing really well. That's great that you got a really healthy dragon! His tank is really neat, too, has alot of room to run around. Glad you're opening the top to give him better UVB, that's good. You can take him outside in the sunshine when it's warm, that's the ultimate UVB!

thanks.. yea i have a leash comming in the mail for spring/summer.
i do want to mount the fixture inside the tank. i have had him for over a month and the petstore said he was 6 months old when i bought him... so almost 8 months old. the 2 left at the store i feel really sorry for... one is looking kinda smal and blackunder his neck and body,,, its sad to see they also have a adult female just over on the side with only a heatlamp. worst part is the owner ofthe shop directed me to this site, he says he a member here.. i want to rescue the adult but he wants 80 bucks for it, should be free.. but i dont have the time jubjub tskes like a hour of my day as it is and he likes to eat gourmet hehe.... well at least i got one. anyways..
i like my dragon a lot hes really cool he will eat crickets no problem but when he sees a superworm he will launch off the hammoc run over the rock and to the otherside of tank for it.. hes funny to watch the way he climbs over the rock all sideways and stuff... also loves endives but not to many other greens, but at least he eats that.
i like to exersize him in the tub by making the current go under his body so he swims on the spot bassically( it might actually make him poop to cause of the movement.)

Mine like to swin in place too & run around my living room. They're such great companions & you'll almost be able to read his mind or him yours, you get so close to them. Keep up the good work!
I know what you mean about dragons left in pet shops. And the owner, who says he's on this site, should know better than to keep larger dragons together & if one is sick to take it to the vet & treat it, but pet shop owners have a different mind set than we do. I hate seeing little babies in pet shops, I'm always glad when they're sold. I have 3 rescues that came from pet shops, theyre all adults now & in great health, but I have 5 adults & a gecko in a 1 bedroom apartment, so I can't take any more in. I might rescue them and treat them but then I keep them!
