I didn't introduce myself first since I was a bit anxious, but let me say hello and I'm excited to meet all you other beardie lovers. I used to be a snake owner but craved a bit more interaction with my little guys and a beardie seemed like a logical next step.
I got Hermes a couple of days ago and with lots of changes and worrying, he's been a great sport through it all. Eating live well (doesn't seem interested in his veggies at all yet) and moving around and tasting his viv every chance he gets. I've also seen him shed most of his tail since I got him so I'm glad that's going well too (with some helpful baths that he doesn't seem to care for).
With his current setup he likes to sit on the branches of the tree and also hop back and forth between it and his hammock. And he will crawl in his leaves and hide out in them as well. He also loves climbing on the backdrop, either straight up from the floor or jumping onto it from his tree.
Here he's hanging out in his favorite tree. I'm really glad I sprung $30 for this because he loves every inch of it.
And of course, this amazing pic (of crap quality) I got last night when he curled up to sleep. He looks so happy and comfy.
Here's some more because why not?
He wants me to stop taking pictures, but will I?
