Hi there,

Hopefully I put this into the correct forum if not please feel free to move it. I recently purchased a SolarMeter 6.2 and I would like to measure the UVB output of my ReptiSun 10.0 (flor bulb - approx 3 months old). I'm not really sure how to interpret the numbers on the meter (I'm assuming the higher the number the greater the UVB output, LOL). Right at the bulb it reads 358 (uW/cm2) as the UVB output, while it reads 25 (uW/cm2) at the basking spot 8" away. Is that sufficient UVB or will I need to move the basking spot even closer? What would be considered the minimum output? What would be considered too much if that is possible? what would be considered optimal? Thanks for your help!

P.S. I do have a couple of new ReptiSun 10.0 bulbs on standby, I just wanted to tinker around with this meter.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
