Hi. I wouldn't feed mealworms. They are known to cause impaction. How old is he? Better feeders are crickets, Phoenix worms, silk worms, butter worms and dubia roaches ( depending on where you are).

I got him a month ago from the pet store, he just arrived at the pet store when I got him. I live in the u.s I have read that meal worms aren't recommended but not that they would cause and problems so that k you for letting me know that! The guys at the pet store told me to feed him those and that he was to small to feed any other worms or crickets.

I agree. Mealworms aren't the most nutritious option. For the little ones I suggest Phoenix Worms. They are calcium rich (don't require supplementation) and make for a good worm feeder. Silks are also a good choice but are tougher to find at the moment (they are available seasonally). I'd use a staple bug for economy's sake too. If you can get dubia roaches in your area (illegal in Florida) then those are a great choice.

Sometimes. They are black soldier fly larvae. They're also known as calci worms and repti worms or phoenix worms. They are just brand names. They are available online if you can't find them locally.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
