I already give them baths almost everyday, so that should not be a problem. I will just be sure to be diligent with them for a few days. Thank you for the advice! It is very much appreciated.
That's good that you've been doing almost daily baths. Good job getting things straightened out.

We should all do our best to share the correct distance to hold the temperature guns. I'm sure other owners AND their beardies will appreciate it.

I fear that without this forum and all of the wonderful people who grace it both of my dragons would be suffering greatly. I am so glad that I found this forum and the wealth of knowledge it holds.

Thank you all for your help. Gannicus is doing great and growing like crazy. he grew almost an inch in the last week. he now measures exactly 11" and weighs in at 79g. His colors are really beginning to show and I like what I am seeing. He is starting to develop bars on his sides that are turning almost blue. It looks REALLY cool. Here are some new pics of him from tonight. He is working on a shed, but you can still sort of see what I am talking about.

Here is the king of the hill, Basking in glory, without a worry in the world.

He looks great & quite content. Does he sometimes have his eyes open while in the basking spot too?

Careful with mealworms!!! I never ever feed Bernard mealworms because sometimes they don't die when being chewed and will still be alive the your beardie and if it is it will eat its way out of their stomachs! So be super careful!

Sounds like urban legend to me. But I don't feed mealworms or super worms if I can help it. Primarily I feed Phoenix worms or crickets as a staple protein. Collard, turnip, and mustard greens, peas, zucchini, and green beans for greens.

Actually.. I have had to clean crawling, wriggling poop before. If the beardie does not chew the worm.. it can pass through and come back out alive. It was probably the grossest thing I have ever seen. They were not meal worms or super worms.. they were phoenix worms.. but they were ALIVE!

There is more danger of impacting your beardie with meal worms.. than there is of it chewing on your beardies stomach!

I hope someone can help. Gannicus has been pretty lethargic lately. He seems ok in every way except that he is not being his normal active self. He just sits in his hammock all day. He is still pooping well so I know he is not impacted and he gets daily baths so he should not be dehydrated. The only thing I can think of is that he is starting a shed. Can shedding make them this lethargic? He seemed fine during his last shed. I know it can cause them to lose their appetite as he has also done to an extent, but I am not sure about his activity level. If not the shedding, what else could be the cause?

On another note check out the position he fell asleep in tonight. I had my other dragon out playing and Gannicus came up to the glass to investigate. When his lights went out he just turned around shoved his head in the plant, and wedged his tail in the corner of the tank to keep him up. I guess he decided it was too much work to climb the other 4 inches to his hammock. Goofy Dragon!!

Shedding can definitely make them lethargic. Some beardies, as they grow, settle down calmly. Jace, at 9 months, races around like a wild man and Zy, 8 months, used to be a wild girl her first four months and now she just likes to pancake out and bask all day.

I took Gannicus outside yesterday for a little while. I held him most of the time since I do not have a harness and leash for him. He has not been out much yet and so he was a little nervous, but he stayed calm and did not freak out at all. I did let him sit on the banister of the patio for a while though and he seemed to be really comfortable. I got a couple of cool pics while he was out there.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
