My Zipper has mbd but I got the mvb and his tank on the hot side is between 105 and 112 and basking side is 82, plus he is getting liquid calcium everyday and his superworms are dusted in calcium powder 5 times a week he has a huge appetite and he gets about 10 to 15 roaches a day. I am doing everything right, plus he drinks water out of his water bowl plus soaks in baths. He has 3 to 4 bowel movements a week, but to me it seems as if his mouth is getting worse. Its way to open. but it dont stop him, he is hyper and active as heck he has his light 12 on 12 off. he is putting on weight and healthy as heck why would his mouth be getting worse and what can I do?????

Are you sure it's not mouth rot? Usually when reptiles have mbd they are lethargic and don't eat much. Have you taken him to a vet?

I know most of that, but it dont look like mouth rot, it looks like his top jaw is reseeding back towards his eyes

With all that you're doing and if his upper jaw is still receding, then it's time for the vet. Like disturb said, MBD usually makes em lethargic and lose appetite, not active and eating like a horse.

Which liquid calcium are you using & how much does he get?
Since he is getting liquid calcium, you wont need to powder the insects with calcium powder.
It is possible for them to get too much calcium also, which can cause issues, too.
What type of thermometer are you using, a digital probe or temp gun?
What is the brand of your MVB you are using?
Do you have any pictures of him?

Calcium Glubionate with D3 added that I got from Beardeddragon.org.
see the vet told me I did need to still dust in calcium when feeding, but he has grown attached to roaches and I was told they are good in calcium. so do I need to stop the dusting then?

I feed my almost 12 week old baby dubias and phoenix worms and I still do daily dusting on the dubias only once per feeding per day.

I think the powdering may be a little much if you are giving the liquid calcium daily. If you want to dust, maybe just a couple of times per week, along with the glubionate should be sufficient.
Great, the digital probe should be fine then to measure the temperatures.

How close is the Powersun from him, 12 or so inches?
