After much reading here I believe my BD is starting to show symptoms of MBD and I know it's because of a calcium deficiency. Can't get him to take any calcium. He eats my roaches just fine but as soon as I dust one with Calcium, he won't eat it. If I wipe the white powder off, he'll then eat it. He's starting to get the trembles so I wanna act quickly and get this under control.
The problem I've run into is none of the local pet stores carry any form of LIQUID Calcium, so I want to know if I take the Rep-Cal Calcium with Vitamin D3 Ultrafine Powder and mix it in a little bit of water, could I syringe this into my BD's mouth, or maybe even inject it into the roaches before I feed him and this will do the trick? I can order some liquid calcium but that's going to take some time to get here so wanted to start this in the mean time.
So, would this water/calcium powder mixture be okay to use and have the same effects? I also plan on ordering some Reptaid because I feel it couldn't hurt to get him on that as well.
Thanks for your help!
