Maybe weird behavior?

I have a 7-8 month beardie and he's been acting out of character lately. We just moved his cage (40 gal breeder) and he scratches endlessly at the glass for the first half of the day, then sleeps where he scratches for the rest. He is eating and pooping (all normal) but barely basking. He will bask for 15 mins before he goes crazy at the glass or goes back to asleep. I checked the temps (probe) and it was 105. so I lowered it to 102 since it seemed he didn't want to stay basking for long, but it does not seem to help. I'm using a powersun, could this be the problem? I know on this forum the reptisun 10 is highly recommended. I also thought maybe he just wanted out of the cage so I let him roam the room and he did the same thing to the wall. He has lots of fresh greens, get roaches or crickets twice a day with the occasional wax worm,I even gave him a bath, I just don't know if anything else could be wrong. I'm really starting to worry.

could be that he sees his reflection in the tank, try moving it or putting something on the cage so he's not getting a reflection

That actually fixed it. We put a big picture book there and he stopped. Thanks a million!!!
