Maybe He's settling in?

I've had Ozzy for one week now and in that time he's been eating well, pooping well and overly getting on great!
He's been eating a steady diet of about 20 crickets a day and a couple green beans (which sit in his tank and he eats at his own leisure)
However last night and today his appetite has tripled!
He eats about 25 crickets at every feeding! Could it be that he just feels settled now and is eating whats going to become his normal amount?
I'm glad that he's eating so much, I cant wait for him to grow... but my god, I'm going to go through a HUGE amount of crickets at that rate lol!

Yea that's what happened to me...my boy ate so much and yours will eat like that constantly especially if your giving him small crickets, it depends on the size, the smaller the more he'll eat of them so you should probly think about gutloading but mine would eat so many crickets it was crazy and a hassle so I switched to Pheniox worms, cause I now how it feels to go crazy back and forth to the pet store and dealing with crickets etc...but goodluck thiers nothing like having a beardie

yep this is normal. My little man is doing the same thing to me now. He is smashing a tub of 50 crix a day. They are small and they are gutloaded. He is also heating green beans which is good.
