Looks to me to be a male. I can see slight hemipenal bulges. You might want to lift the tail a little more and maybe add some flash to make it clearer.

Im hoping some of the experts will chime in and help me sex my beardie.

Im sure Im not posting these pics appropriately. How do you upload the pics so that they display on the forum rather than having to go through the url?

Watcha think?? I hope these are better, if not let me know and I'll take some more.

It's still really hard to tell, the close up one is blurry, and you need to leave the dragons body flat while the tail is bent up. Check out the link that TND posted.

Im sorry I have a broke mans ($150) Wal-Mart digital camera and I havent been able to get a good photo yet, I will keep trying though.

A couple of hours ago I put my 15" male with my "assumed" group of females which includes the beardie in question and after several hours the male is up on top of the highest rock bobbing his head up and down like crazy, :blob8: staring at the beardie in question, and his beard is solid BLACK. The beardie in question is on the slate slowly raising and lowering its head and slowly waiving its arms in a circle one at a time. Do these actions help identify the sex of the beardie in question?

Thnk you VERY much for helping me out!! I have 1200 gallons in fish tanks and Im a small San Antonio breeder. Breeding is what I love and it would be amazing if I could get these guys to breed. The male is a normal/pastel and the beardie in question is a citrus. The little ones would have good blood. THX!!

The beardie in question could be a female, basing it off of the actions, females are usually submissive to males, and do the bowing and arm waving, however it could be a less aggressive male, which would also act the same way, with bowing and arm waving.

I would definately check out this link: http://www.dachiu.com/beardeddragoncare/sexingdragons.html, it is very helpful, and just take a look at your dragon. It's really easy once you know what you are looking for, especially if it's fully grown.

Good luck!!!

I believe that it is a girl. Look at the bumps on the back legs dose it look like there are tiny holes or just bumps that is how I finnaly determined mine is a female ( males have the bumps with little dot lookin things (pores) and the females are just bumps).
Good luck and let us know

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
