Male or Female (pictures)

For some reason I thought this was a female when I first checked her. Vet says a male (and he based this on the size of the little nubbin's on the underside of the back legs...not on the lumps at the base of the tail). Anyway, after re-looking at it I am inclined to agree with the male observation but thought I'd see what you guys thought.

No advice for ya (I'm a total newbie) but I'm curious as to what others say. How long and how much does your beardie weigh? I know just by sight that nothing is 100% sure either way, but I'd like to post some pics anyway just to see what other people think even tho it's still a baby.

It is exactly 19inches long and I have no idea on the weight (belly feels fat though). He is about 7-8 years old.

IDK, looks Female to me, but I would trust tom. He has been doing this for a while... I just don't see the two bulges...

The straight on shots look female b/c what I at first thought looked like male bumps on the tail are markings, his coloring. I see 2 more marks up above those that make a shadow sort of like a male. (But the side shot looks male lol. I would say male if not for Toms choice :laughing6: )

Do those bumps on the back legs mean anything? That was what interested the vet the most in sexing the dragon.

Is there anything I can do to get better pictures for you guys? Would gripping it closer to the base of the tail help? I don't want to doubt anybody but Tom seems to be the expert and thinks male but everybody else is leaning toward female. Do they get harder to sex as they get older or something?

In the last pic, the side angle looks like there is a gap between two bulges. That's the only one I see as a male.

It is that last side pic. If not for that one he/she looks female, but that last one...gads...confused us. But I bet Tom has seen so many that he could tell you best if the bump we are seeing in the first *female* looking pic is not what we think LOLOL

I was also leaning towards female until I saw the last pic.... then I looked back at them all, really carefully, and Im pretty sure I can see 2 bulges in a couple of them so Im going to go with male!

With regards to the bumps the vet refered to, those are femoral pores which it is assumed are more prominent in males.
