So, about a month ago, we finished our 6' custom viv. It has a wooden divider in the middle of it, so Phred (1 year old male) & Butters (4 month old female) can't see each other. However, as smart as bearides are, they know they are on the other side.

Since I have moved Phred into here, he has stopped eating his dubia, and hardly eats feeders. When he was in his glass aquarium, he would eat 7 large dubia a day and he has lost 26 grams in this past month..

I also have Ollie, my other male. He is in a seperate enclosure in a seperate room... My question is, should I move my female, Butters into the totally seperate enclosure, and put Ollie in where she is now, on the other side of Phred? Would 2 males be more stressed out being housed next to each other even though they can't see each other?

Here is a picture of the viv's:

I don't know why Phred has stopped eating so quickly, and this is all I can think of. Not sure if having Ollie on the other side would make any difference... HELP??

i can help u here from personal experience.. i have seem to notice male bearded dragons are alittle more hardy when it comes to being moved and when my male dragons see each other they dont really do anything just a simple stare and thts it. But when my female and male see each other the male goes bizarck and blackbeards and head bobs. Then the only thing he focuses on is here. I would think putting male to male would be a better idea as long as they never meet their should be no problems. hope i helped

I'm thinking I may try this for a week.. I have to scrub down both the cages, and then move them.. I will see if the eating on Phreds part improves.. Thanks for the input.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
