well the beardies are still young but now old enough to tell the sex.

General Tso was purchased from Howling Gale Dragons as a probable male.

Yup. Pores on the legs, double bumps on base of tail... male.

Mushu was purchased from a local "reptile specialty" pet store. Probable Female.

Nope. Pores on the legs, double bumps on base of tail... male.

DRAT! Not that I'm wanting to breed just this moment and they each have their own housing and everything... but I wanted the option to someday breed them if things went right. Apparently, this is not to be lol.

I wish I could just sneak in an exact copy of Mushu that happened to be female without Jamie noticing lol. Mushu is Jamie's fave (and the one she picked out to begin with) so I'd get an ear full if I decided to do anything along the lines of replacing Mushu lol. and I'd get even more of an ear full if I added another enclosure right now.

maybe it'd be easier than I thought lol. Apparently, Mushu scratched Jamie last night while I was away. Not on purpose of course, but he was being ornery and in his haste to run free across the bed, he gave her arm a good scratch. hrm.... now to help him plot his escape... lol
