So I have a one year old bearded dragon named Copper, and a new beardie female named... well nothing yet. I have had her for a few months and I decided to see how they did together under my supervision on my floor. Copper puffed his beard and headbobbed, then stomped his fronts a couple times and the female slowly headbobbed. He then climbed on top of her and I took them away from each other. I have a feeling this wasn't aggressive, but I don't wanna take chances. I have a feeling he was trying to mate with her, but I think my female is a little too young still for any of that. I was wondering if what I thought was probably the case, and when my female would be ready for breeding? She isn't as big as him, and I can't see her being older than six months. Most likely younger than that.
