male and female attraction

I have a nearly 2 year old female (Balrog) and a 10 month old male (Goldorak). Their vivs are on top of each other, so can't see each other. But when we take one out, the other one "shows strong interest" for the other, especially Balrog. She arm waves and takes on a nice position as if to look attractive... and Goldorak usually respond with head bobs. They have never been out together, and we have no intention of breeding.
My question: is it bad for them to get a look at the other once in a while, without getting the chance to mate? They are both not aggressive at all, eat well, bask well, sleep well...Could seeing the other be too much "teasing", or is that just a little excitement with no negative effect? Would it be good for them to let them mate (and throw away eggs)? But I am not confident enough to have them both out together yet, I would like advice!

As long as they aren't getting stressed, seeing each other will do no harm. As for mating, from what ive read on this forum, i wouldn't advise unless you know what your doing. males can get really agressive with females when mating and can result in bad injury or worse, even if closely supervised. Also being gravid / pregnant puts a lot of strain on the females body and they need extra care and attention. However, this is just my opinion and advice, the choice is entirely up to you. If you decide to let them meet eventually, i would also advise 2 people to be present to closely monitor them (you may also want to consider having harnesses put on them untill you figure out their behaviour towards each other). Hope this helps a bit :D

Thanks, I did not really give thoughts about how being gravid can affect the female body, so you're right, that's not a good idea to "force" it.
I just want them to be happy and healthy!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
