Mai New Baby Is Here! *MoMo's A Boy!

Ever since my Reggie passed away, I've been miserable. So many of you suggested obtaining a baby dragon-- and that I did!

Meet mai new master:

He/She will not let me go. I'm getting frustrated trying to type with one hand. He/She chose me: I was putting a clutchmate back, and this little one jumped on my hand and climbed up my wrist immediately. That's when I knew I'd found my new master.

The little one is 1 month 1 week and 1 day old, and five inches tip to tip. He has a beak! LOL will get pics of it tomorrow. Looks like a babyfood beak on top only permanent and dark brown.

since getting my two beardies iv wanted to get a little baby one but as time goes on, im not thinking its a good idea lol these two are a handful as it is but they are great and wouldnt trade them!

Oh, how sweet. What a great birthday gift. It was meant to be, the way he/she climbed on your hand and arm, how could you possibly resist??????????? We're all sure that Reggie is feeling more content now that you have filled an empty spot in your heart. We're all happy for you.
Your little baby will have LOTS of energy and they can be hard to hang on to so when you get it out of the tank, you might want to have it in the palm of your hand and cup your other hand loosely over the top because they love to jump. Also, a babies care is a little different than other ages so if you want to go over things with us, just let us know. We want everything perfect for your sweet new baby. :wink:

Second I just wanted to let you know that just as I had tears of sadness when I read of Reggie's passing, I now have tears of joy reading about your new baby. Not only am I happy that you have decided to share your love of Reggie with another, I am equally glad that you will not be leaving us.

So far the little one seems perfectly content to climb all over ME, and doesn't seem skittish at all. Knows who mommy is. Then again, he/she was quite sleepy. Don't worry, can't be worse than catching a wild fence lizard.

Jacqui, he's adorable! Thanks for sharing the pics! As you are aware, we LOVE pics, especially beardie pics. I'm glad you went there. You, obviously got the right beardie. Your new little one is smaller than Zoom Zoom was when we first got her, she was about 8 inches long.


BTW, I forgot to mention, Happy Birthday, You got a great present.

Happy Birthday, & congratulations on your new baby! She is so adorable! :love5:
I know that Reggie is very proud of his mommy helping another little dragon now. While I know she will not replace Reggie as no other dragon can, she will bring alot of love to you.
I think that you have a great tank setup. Which UVB are you using for her?
Try the phoenix worms, or small crickets or roaches. Mealies should not be fed as you know as they are too fatty for tiny babies such as her.

I know you will be very happy with her.

Jacqui, I'm so happy for you. The little pooper is adorable, especially in the third pic where he/she's looking up at you.
I agree with everybody -- Reggie definitely had something to do with this pooper "picking" you. I mean, of all the other babies, this one jumped onto your hand then proceeded to crawl up your wrist.

Oh Jacqui......he/she is absolutely adorable :love5: I am so very excited for you, sweetie! I know this little baby will help heal the hurt you have in your heart. I am crying right now I am so happy! I am pretty positive...between you turning 13 ....and getting that tiny bundle of joy....it must have been the most wonderful and memorable birthday you've had yet! Am I right?
