Lump

Bob our 2yr old beardie has developed a wierd lump at the base of his lower jaw it formed in like an hour or so, it is not sensitive to touch or pressure. It is the size of 2 peas side by side. He was handled just before we noticed it could it be stress related?

That sounds like a bite or a sting of some sort... How is the dragon doing ?

It has not gotten any bigger overnight and he still doesnt seem to feel it either.

Is his beard dark at all, recently?
You mentioned that this cropped up very quickly? Who handled him, you or someone new?
Could he have been injured somehow?
I would normally say it appears to be an abscess or a cyst & needs to be aspirated to determine what it could be. You can give it a week or so to see whether or not the swelling is going to go down.
It is possible that it could be a sting of some sort. If you look closely, can you see anything that could indicate some type of sting or bite? A spider bite is a possibility as well.
I do not think it could be stress related, no.
Does he have a good appetite today? Is he having any trouble breathing, or exhibiting any other strange behavior that could be indicative of a bite or a sting?

He is acting as usual, no dark beard, eating well. A friend who has handled him many times before was holding him last. Havent seen him injure himself but he did get crickets yesterday afternoon and this cropped up few hours later. No trouble breathing cannot see any bites or stings.
I will watch him closely for changes and if it does not go down by thurs vet we go. Should I try a warm compress etc until then to see if it helps?

Another day and no bigger or smaller, still eating very well and bm as usual.

Any changes in him today? How is his appetite, still eating a lot?
That is very odd. Have you looked in his mouth to see if maybe some food is lodged in his beard perhaps? At least he does not appear to be in any pain at the moment. Please let me know how he is doing.

Still no changes daily life is normal eat bob eat bob poo. just now with a lump.

UPDATE
Been one week and still there has not gotten any bigger or discolored etc. Bob is eating great and pooping as usual. He is acting just like there is nothing wrong at all, seems I am more concerned about it than he is lol. It is hard and does not move under his skin and it is not touch sensitive either. Looks like we are going to the vet this week to get a check up.

Well, great that the lump has not changed in appearance then & does not bother him at all. Good you will take him in to get it checked out though. Based on your description, it sounds like it could be a cyst since it is hard. Hopefully they can determine what it is once they see him.
I am happy to hear he is eating & not lethargic then.
Are you providing good UVB lighting & calcium supplementation?
