I got him 2 nights ago he/she is extremely young, prolly only a month old. only 5 in'! Just joined this forum because i have/had so many questions. Her/his Darker skin and new stress marks terrified me. with everything people have told me it seems like it will be okay, but I still feel terrified im gonna loose my little guy

Hello
You might consider papering at least 3 sides to your tank to minimize outside stimulus. Babies a lot of the time grow up in tubs where there aren't reflections and views from all sides. I would also recommend no available hiding places for a baby. They need as much heat and UVB as possible so I limit cage decorations. I am happy to welcome you to the forum, and I really never give much unsolicited advise to new people, but a 5 week old dragon is still not out of the woods. Proper temps, hydration, and reduced stimulation can help a baby with relocation stress settle and thrive.

I have even papered all 4 sides of a tank to help a baby settle down. Usually just for a few weeks.

Just a thought

Welcome! I think your little buddy will be just fine. I must agree with the suggestion of covering a few sides of his/her tank. My little buddy Kaida is covered along the back and one side. I used a desert background made for vivariums on the back, and some dark colored gift wrapping paper for the side. She seems very content in there. Don't stress to much over your beadie, relocation stress for them goes more smoothly if they know we aren't stressed too.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
