LOST hornworm in my HOUSE!!

Yes -in my house - was ready to pupate so I made make-shift "containers" - I taped 2 little paper cups together and punched air holes - well the tape came loose on a cup and the cup is empty! and I can't find it!... i'm wondering how far he could have made it... do I need to expand my search? I have NO IDEA when he escaped... (it was on my kitchen table - luckily I don't eat over there)... I'm hoping the DOG didn't eat him or something... UGH and sorta ICK

Your dog probably got it would be my guess :bleick: My lab Zeus is known as the cricket hunter in my house! Any loose crickets I can assure you Zeus will take care of them lol He likes to play with them and seems to kill them eventually, poor crickets! Your dog might of got it and played with it and probably took it somewhere in the house or outside to play with it and it probably eventually died. Unless your dog ate it but I don't think he/she would.

ick - I don't even want to think about the dog eating it - she will play with a fly if it's in her window... she like your dog plays with them until they die. I live in a 2 bedroom condo that is only 850 sq ft - which the 2nd bedroom door is always closed off - so less than 850... I should be able to find it if I really looked I think... I haven't moved all the crapped that's on floor next to the table yet...
