Looking thru some old photos

My mother came out to visit me and met Smid for the first time last night. After she held her we looked through some of my old photos and I found the ones I had of her when she first came home - how skinny and sad she looked for a 10 month old!! She was around 11" then...

and this is her now as a much 'healthier' 17 month old (around 19" now)

just thought that this was interesting - and what a change she has made.

She is on tile, much easier to clean. The lucky girl has nicer floors than me!

He colours still amaze me! If I hadn't found this site I'd think all beardies looked like that

I still remember the first night when I looked in her cage after lights out and I thought she was dead! Couldn't see her breathu, immediately texted the bf and he rationally (I guess he balances my non-rational thoughts) said touch her. Boy did she move then!!

I still think that I'm the lucky one to have found her. With my current job that takes me away from friends and family for months at a time, she gives me great company and makes me smile at all the weird random beardie things she does. And I get to read about all your beardies too!
