Looking for pics of beardies with dogs

I was wondering, we're thinking of gettinng a boxer and we were wondering how they get along? I know a lot of you have both, but I'm looking for pics for the hubby to show him.

Anyone have any please post (Also looking for cat ones, I want a cat, lol)

I have 5 dogs and only two of them I don't trust with the beardies. They are both young pit bulls and want to play but i don't trust only because PB play rough. My lab mix runs away from them and the amer bulldog and german shepard allow all of the beardies to use them as furry playgrounds.

As far as cats, I have 2 outside cats that are great hunters so I don't let them around my beardies.

Just remember that all animals have their own personalities and not all will get along with beardies. Boxers are great dogs and most do tend to be hyper so listen to your heart when making your decision.

I would agree with beardie1434. You never know until you actually try. All dogs and all beardies have different personalities. I would be especially careful if you're getting a puppy. Puppies tend to play a lot with their mouths and paws and they have sharp little teeth and claws. They think they are being gentle, but I think as anyone who has ever owned a puppy knows, you get little cuts and scratches from them. These minor injuries for people could be major injuries for a beardie.

As others have said, different animals have different personalities. Most of the animals we have are afraid of Jasper, except for our 100 lb Golden Retriever, who would be happy to "retrieve" him. Consequently, the dogs are never left alone with Jasper. Here's Boomer with Jasper (supervised only!).

This was right before Percy (cat) passed away, so he really wasn't interested in anything.

I'd say just be careful. Be wary. Puppies are playful!

I'm subscribing to this thread! We have been long in need of a cat/dog/beardie thread!

My kitty-bud Ira is an outdoors man, and has picked up a few not-so-nice habits from the local strays involving small critters and teeth. :shock: Ira's such a sweetie, but I don't know if I'd trust him with Budo... With my foster kittens (and the mommy cats), I signed off my life at the Humane Society assuring them that the sweeties wouldn't come into contact with any other animals.



Anyways, I love the pictures, guys! Keep 'em coming! I love my furry-babies as well as my scaley-babies.

Here are my two babies Yoshi and Kengo herassing my dog Frolie. The bds think she is a big heated rock to play on and love to crawl all over her. Frolie just lies there looking used and dejected, but never does anything about it.
