Long road trip

Hi I live around Maryland and I am planning to have a trip down to florida and I can't bear to
my beardie with someone. I am going by car and the trip is like 14 hours or so. How can I transport her and not stress her. I also want to mention that in 2-3 years Im moving to Florida so I want to take her. So if you can help me it would mean alot. Thanks

We recently went to see the inlaws and took Lizz. I made him a travel viv with a big rubbermaid container.I suspended his reptisun tube over it by running a small board over the top and securing the fixture to the board.
Just be careful with a anything that generates heat like a bulb or ceramic emitter so you dont melt the travel viv! Brought him some supers and a bathtub, and he was set to go! It was a 10 hr drive so he rode on the dash for awhile in the sun. It was warmer there that at home, so he got to go outside on hs leash several times in the sunshine. Good visit.

So was he calm on the way or did she go to sleep. And is there another way because Saphira (my bd) doesnt like cages even though she has one she likes to be out and runing but I will try your way and se if it works. Thanks

Yes, he was calm, but he is usually pretty lazy. I really think the heat and sun on the dash board felt good to him.

When we moved from ARIZONA to TEXAS Spazz rode on the dash and looked out the front window!
But Spazz likes to sit on the dash and ride in the car, Now LUCKY on the other hand will not stay on the dash , she jumps to the seat over the back ,up to the side window back down to the seat, it's a full time job keeping up with her! LOL
As long as they are warm they can go a couple of days with out uv, we turn hers on in the motel at night and in the morning before we left.
