Hello everyone!
I am a college student, and my family lives about four hours away from my university. As you all know, Thanksgiving will soon be upon us. I need to drive south for four hours with Custard (my handsome beardie), my boyfriend, and his cat. I live in Florida, and it is quite hot for the fall season, so I do not think that heat will be an issue. My main concern is Custard's stress levels. I want to make sure that he does not get too worried on the car ride there and back. Maybe he could even sleep? I have read that the best thing to do is cover them up with a towel in a shoebox so they can snuggle in it, but is that what's best for a 2 month old beardie? Where should I situate him? I know for sure out of the site of the cat, but should he be in my lap? He's quite quick when he wants to hop off and explore, and that would be inopportune while I'm driving. If anyone has any long car ride tips I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks and Happy Turkey Day
