My beardie (7inches,) will NOT eat lettuce... I tried collared greens and turnip greens..he'll eat a little romaine when he was younger, but now only carrots, broccoli, and zucchini... :banghead: can he live without them? :banghead:

Just keep giving fresh collars greens daily and she should be eatin it eventually. My dragon started eating her greens at only 8 inches. And it was only like 2 pieces a day lol now I see her bowl being 70% empty by the end of the day. Remember, a juvenile's diet is 80% protein and 20% veggies. That'll change when she's an adult (80% veggies, 20% protein). So don't worry, she's fine ;]

I agree with the other posters. I found out the hard way. :( I bought spring mix which is mostly all types of lettuce and over hydrated poor Draco. He had very runny poops and a lot of yucky liquid when he went potty. Now all he gets is things like collard greens, dandilion greens, escarole, and mustard greens when I can find it. I am also starting to slowly add bok choy. I agree to the NO iceberg lettuce too. Luckily I didn't feed that to Draco along with the spring mix. Don't feed too much carrots, maybe once a week. They are high in Vit A and can cause Vitamin A Toxicidity (sp?). Squash is better. Hope this helps.

Thanks.. but for now is he okay without Eating greens? :banghead:
Yea just keep offering them. Sooner or later he will start to eat them. :D He still quite young, I'm assuming, if he's only 7 inches. At that age the diet is 80% protein (crickets ect.) 20% veggies. Now that's what I learned here reading cause Draco was I year old when I got him.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
