Live Plant in Gecko Tank

I went to petco earlier (I do NOT like petco but my brother needed something) and I saw some small aloes (i like aloes) and i was wondering if i could put it in my leos tank. would cleaning it and puting it out of reach be ok? (I dont have an I.D. for it yet)

I believe so long as you leo can not reach it, the aloe plant will be fine in the cage. They arent prickly like most cactus. just keep an eye on your leo, if he likes veges and such he may want to taste it. (You will have to see if they are edible by lizards just in case.

I have two in my tank. They are in 4 inch pots and are deep in the sand.

My Leo's hang around the pots as hides. They think they are hiding under the fronds but I even get to see them in the daytime.

Makes it nice for us both.

Aloe should be ok. My Leos are not herbivors.

Certain plants are recommended in books. Stick with them. Aloe is in there.
